The new compulsory national private pension scheme will be the biggest government gamble with the savings of a generation since the contracting out ideas of the mid 1980's.

We are astonished at how little interest is being shown in the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) and it’s ramifications for employers and employees alike.  Pretty well every smaller pension plan will need to be changed if employers are to avoid significant administration charges and staff dissatisfaction with the new compulsory contributions.
