We are looking for a qualified individual to join our friendly team. You must be approachable, self-motivated and ambitious. Successful candidates will need to be close to or hold a Level 4 Diploma, and to be looking to attain chartered status in the next 3 years.
What Will You Be Doing?
Our advisers do just that – advise – there will not be a pool of paraplanners to churn out templated reports so you need to be proficient in Excel / CashCalc / and back-office systems(IO) as well as confident in dealing with established and new clients. We are looking for a future business owner with an attitude to succeed and a good level of knowledge in investments, taxation and retirement planning.
Training
The role itself prioritises both existing and new clients in equal measure, with the client’s best interests at the heart of what we do. There will be a period of training to make sure you can meet our high standards and you will be fully supported by the team. We encourage and fund further qualifications for all staff.
New Business
Whilst in the short term new business isn’t an issue (we have significant existing clients) the successful candidate needs to have the desire and drive to get new clients to drive the company forward.
Work Environment
Our offices are in the centre of Ipswich with limited parking facilities. Once you are fully proficient, facilities will be made available for you to spend part of your working week at home (if you wish). The availability of this benefit will depend upon trading conditions and will not be a right.
Long Term
This is a long-term position which for the successful candidate will lead to directorship and possible business ownership.
