We have in the past highlighted pier to pier lenders such as Zopa and Funding Circle but this is the first commercial pier to pier lender we have come across.
The loans are typically bonds with a fixed term of 3 or 4 years (totally unrealisable during the term of the loan. They are usually unsecured meaning you stand at the bottom of the food chain if the business gets into difficulties. For the high risk the return is attractive at up to 8% pa and some of the property based offers look pretty good (although we have not done any due diligence on same).
